This space reserved for materials on Rabbi Schonfeld, the presiding rabbi of the Adath Yisroel during the existence of the shul.  See links for historical information about this Holocaust hero.  Rabbi Schonfeld was the brother of noted British economist Sir Andrew Akiba Shonfeld.

At 22, Schonfeld succeeded his father as rabbi of Adath Yisroel, a small Orthodox congregation in the Stamford Hill section of London; principal of the first Jewish Secondary School; and presiding rabbi of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations.
