*Special Note
In this article, the writer, Steve Nadis, makes an unfortunate error about my
employment. For the past decade I have been the "VP of Engineering" with
SRICO, Inc., a small photonics company in
Columbus, Ohio. As of September 2002, my title at SRICO has changed to
"Chief Scientist". That my employment is with SRICO, Inc., is clear from
both my resume and brief bio.
