Order OSETI Equipment

As expressed in the Mission Statement, it has always been the intention that at some point, ETI Photonics, the business side of The Columbus Optical SETI Observatory, would start to make available some of the hardware and software required to undertake Optical SETI.  This time has now come, and the first products in support of both monochromatic and pulsed beacon OSETI should be available for purchase in early 1999.  It is not the present intention that assembling and selling systems for Optical SETI would become a major effort, only that some of the income accruing from the activity would be used to offset the ongoing cost of promoting Optical SETI and conducting OSETI research.  Over the past eight and a half years, my OSETI activities have been a significant sink of income from my day job and have consumed a significant amount of time.  The profits from this OSETI activity would also be used to obtain and/or design very sophisticated detection and signal processing systems for the observatory.   Thus, your purchase of equipment from ETI Photonics will both assist in the continued promotion of Optical SETI and the research activities of the COSETI Observatory.  This web site will be used to provide technical support for the products sold by ETI Photonics.
