OSETI Postings to the OSU Radio Observatory (1990 - 1991)The material in this section was posted to OSU's Radio Observatory bulletin board between August 1990 and December 1991, and copied to Dr. Jill Tarter, then of NASA Ames, and Larry Klaes, former editor of EJASA and SETIQuest. Some of the files were also posted to Internet newsgroups. These files have been available to be downloaded from the Optical SETI BBS for the past six years and have been occasionally given out on floppy disk. This material led to me being asked by Larry Klaes to write the six-part EJASA article on OSETI, which in turn, subsequently led to the request by SPIE to put together the first OSETI conference. Although much of this material was incorporated in the six-part EJASA article, these Radobs (OSU Radio Observatory) files represent part of the historical record as to how I formulated my ideas on the subject. It is therefore now presented, for the general public, without modification or correction. Generally, most of what is described in these files is covered elsewhere on this site in relation to the detection of continuous wave SETI beacon signals. Stuart Kingsley
